Holy Chocolate Chip Cookies (a Torres and Woo creation)

The Jacques Torres Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is everywhere online and for good reason.  The recipe is crazy good.  It’s chocolate chip to cookie ration is 50:50 for goodness sake, of course it’s awesome!  I, as well as my entire family, can vouch for it’s awesomeness.  However the original recipe is for a mountain of cookies, so I’ve cut the recipe in half (which took some significant calculations).  And since pastry flour is practically impossible to find at a regular grocery store, I’ve substituted it with a mixture of all purpose flour and corn starch.

If you are feeling indulgent or want something decadent for  a special occasion, you should definitely splurge on ingredients and make this recipe.  So worth it!

  1. That looks really damned tasty! And it’s impossible to find anything in Hawaii’s regular grocery stores. I’ve been so spoiled since moving to the mainland.
